Auto delete email where email address is not know in contacts?

Newbie here!

I have had a search but not been able to find the answer to this question....

I have setup Sugar CRM CE on Ubuntu and have setup a group inbound email account (IMAP) that is reading every email sent and received into the company. (I have already worked out how to not let the email server get bogged down). This is great because it means that every email sent to or received from a client is added to their history.

My problem is that it seems every email is kept in the database and I am guessing this will become unmanageable over time.

It would help if I could automate the system to delete emails where there are no Contact email addresses in the header. Does anyone know if this is possible?

This is another question but the alternative would be for my users to use BCC and forwarding but I would rather not.

Any help and advice will be well received and please let me know if I have misguided myself with this arrangement.

You need to create a scheduled job to delete records from email_addr_bean_rel.

So does this table only have emails that have not been matched to a record? Can I just schedule to delete all records in that table or do I need to work out which ones do not have a relationship?
