Auto Message for User changes ?

Hi,

I am not sure if this has come up somewhere, but i am curious if it is possible when a user creates or modify new data within Sugar, it can get an auto message for other users so they can see what things are new or has changed ?
Also I would like to know if Sugar contains a sort of security that when a user is modifying data, the other user can't access or change the same data at that specifically moment.

Hope someone can clarify this to me

Are you talking about any data on sugar on some specific fields on some specific modules?

I'm talking about any data. Whenever a new project, call etc. is created, or has changed. Also is there a security that 2 users can't change the same data in a module at the same time? Thanksss

Regarding the risk of two users modify the same record at the same time Sugar implements the optimistic_locking (have a look on all vardefs.php modules), which deal with that.
Regarding the auto message you would need to create a logic_hook before_save to alert all other users when some user modify some record, but the system can behave like a spammer.
