Autocomplete feature in basic search field

Dear Sugar Gurus,

I am new in SugarCE and using sugarCE 6.1.2. I am trying to get auto-complete feature in a basic search field for a module. For exaomple, If a user start typing in the search textbox, it will show all the records starting with that letter. Is it possible in SugerCE. Please help me to accomplish this. Any help will be appreciative.

What field and module is this, that feature only works on certain types of fields, mostly relationships and names (the NAME field in a module). It won't work in a standard text field or a custom text field. You would have to have someone add code to that field to bring up the list.

Thanks for your response. Yes I want to use it for Name fields. For example if I want to show auto complete in Account name field in basic search what I need to do in that. The name field is already there in basic search, what I need to add to show the auto complete feature in this?

Is this a custom module? Is the Account Name field a relationship or just a text field? The more detail you give the better I can answer.

Thanks for your response. Sorry for not providing more detail. The Account Name field is from the module Accounts.The Data Type: (name)
Field Name: name. This is a SugarCE Module. This is not a relationship. I want to show it in basic search for this account module.

However, I also have some custom module for which also I want to implement this. The custom modules are build with module builder and module type company. Here also I want to implement it for name field
