Autoconnect mails to Leads

Is it possible to autoconnect emails to leads (or Contacts)? So you don't have to connect it manually everytime?
I guess this is pretty core (autoconnect by email) and it is prgrammed, but I can't use it.

OK, I figured out that this can be done with Accounts and Contacts as well as Cases.

Now to convert all leads to Contacts.

I am using sugar ce 4.5.1i
We have 1 requiremnt where when we cmpose any mail and try to enter email address we click on Select button near to TO: field and the contact module gets pop up but instead of this contact mdule we need to populate Leads module.

Can you plss help

This has been fixed in 5.x Here you click on "to" and a general search panels opens where you can search for persons. No difference between leads and contacts..

I fear his won't work without code modifications. Check the developer forum or the wiki. There might have been similar questions.
