I'm just on a trial but I would like to do the following...
Go into an account and set a date for a future event involving that account. The action of scheduling that event on a specific date would kick of a workflow to automatically send email reminders to certain emails associated with that account at set time periods before the event. So, the emails would go out 2 weeks before the event, 1 week before the event, the day before the event, etc. Does this functionality exist?
I see that the workflow can automate an email to be sent with an event trigger, but I don't see anyway to do it based around a certain date.
