Automatic Notification "non on assignment"

Hi all

I would need to acomplish a requirement but dont know how to do it in SugarCE 5.5.

We have created a module called Patients, and we would like a group of users, based on a role, to be notified everytime any user creates a new record of this module.

I know Sugar offers tha automatic notification on assignment, however, do you know if it is possible to add this notification on user bases or role bases??
