    Default Automatic Panel Name Changes

I'm having a bit of a problem at the moment, in that when I try and change the panel names, they appear to deploy as expected but when I access the modules, the names have switched round. It is getting quite frustrating!

I'm not much of a developer, so if someone could explain in fairly simple terms how I can fix this problem I would most appreciate it!

    Thanks

    Hi howells

It is possible you are facing a permission issue on folder custom/modules/
Make sure this folder is recursively writeable by the user under which the web server is running.
You can edit directly the files:
    custom/modules/<ModuleName>/metadata/
    custom/modules/<ModuleName>/language/

Let us know the module and layout you are trying to edit.

I believe this to be a bug, see bug #32752 at http://bugs.sugarcrm.com to see if it sounds like what you are experiencing. If it is, I would encourage you to add your voice to the nominated bugs list for the next patch:

andopes - it seems to be happening with all modules on the edit and detail layouts!

angel - thanks for that, sounds like exactly the same problem I'm having. Have added my comments to the nominated bugs list.
