Automatically Create Scheduled Call with Opportunity

Hi all,

This is my first post and first time I've ever used Sugar. I've installed the binary that does it all in one hit. I'm really liking SugarCRM so far and hoping to replace Maximizer with it.

We are a joinery company and we quote a lot of jobs. What would win me over completely is the following:

When I enter a quote (Opportunity), I have a drop down box saying "Schedule follow up call in:" with options such as "1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, etc"

When I save the opportunity, I want a call to be automatically created for the time specified, and to have a description of some sort with the details of the opportunity.

That way, in 2 weeks time for example, I get a pop up saying "Call whoever about the job: etcetc".

Is this at all possible? I've spent about 2 hours searching the forums here but can't find anything.
