Why my Avatar does not work ...?
I uploaded a picture in my profile, but in the "Edit Avatar" panel the "Do not use an avatar" radio button is checked and I have no way to reset it (neither with the "Reset fields" button).

What am I missing ? Where is the trick ?

Do Not Use Avatar radio button will not turn off

I think avatars are restricted to the top 20 or so posters, and have to be set by the forum moderators.

You set your picture and then the fourm moderator will copy the picture to your avitar. and you do have to post and be seen alot on the fourms to get it set.

Kinda what I figured, I know on alot of discussion boards there are always the folks who seem to use "Less than desirable" avatars. I guess it's one less thing to police.

Yes it is bad enought that we have spammers in the fourms occationally that they have to clean out.
