Backup problems

I want to run the backup utility under admin/backups, but it seems to hang. I've waited 10 minutes, but no activity.

I've tried different locations and file names, but no success.

I've gone through and found scant documentation on this backup process.....any pointers towards resolution or more detailed documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Apache 2.0
PHP 4.3.4

Hi dmiller, were any files created at all? If not there may be a permissions problem.

You might also check your PHP memory limit...as should the compressed archive file's size exceed your memory limit, such function will 'hang'/'fail' as of reaching the memory limit.. {edit} during the creation of the compressed (i.e. zip) archive file.

Regardless eitherway, do let us know whether or not you get it working, as well as the solution you found to work..
