    Default Bad search filter

    I have enabled LDAP and I can see it hitting the specifed 2003 Active Directory LDAP server successfully .. but it just returns Bad search filter ... standard sugar logins still all functional .. it is a php LDAP error 87 .. and I am running PHP 4.4.4...anybody got any ideas ..

    We had the same error and changed the following attribute:

    from:
    Login Attribute: sAMAccountName

    to:
    Login Attribute: userPrincipalName

    After that, we were able to log in with User.Name@Domain.Name

    I got the same error... and the reason it was giving me that:
    I had a space after sAMAccountName I took out that extra space.. and now it works like a charm!!!
