Big Problem with Leads!

I have a vendor that provides me the leads. I dump those leads into the Leads module in SugarCRM 4.5.1 . I just found out that they are providing me duplicate leads. Is there any way that we can check the leads from the vendor that if it is the same lead then do not accept it and send it back to vendor. Or if there is a thir party software, we are willing to purchase.

Hi

While importing the leads you put checks on firstname, lastname, emailid ....in this way you would be able to find how many duplicates were there in the list and those will not be imported. You can get in touch with us for any help.

Is there anyway I can check the duplicate by phone number while importing. If so , how can I do that. thanks
