About LinkBacksI want to store birthdays in the birthday fireld for contacts in OpenSource. However, I do not know the year of birth for most so I cannot enter in the desired date format. Can this be edited?

I want to store birthdays in the birthday fireld for contacts in OpenSource. However, I do not know the year of birth for most so I cannot enter in the desired date format. Can this be edited?

Why not use a different field for the purpose? You could either create a custom one that doesn't require a "date" entry per se or re-purpose one of the text fields for the task.
