I am using Sugar 5.2.0i with Apache web server. I have this on my internal network running on a PC. I do not have this connected publicly to the internet. I set this up last fall and everything seems to have been working just fine. I have made no modifications.
For some reason my notifications stopped working. I have checked my email settings and everything is fine. i do not use Sugar for inbound email, only outbound notifications when a new record is assigned to a user.
What is really strange is if i go to the sugar email client, type a email and click send it goes out. I check the headers and sure enough it was sent using all my info from the outbound email set up screen.
I have even set up other smtp servers and i get the exact same result, works in one place but if you assign a record to someone no mail goes out. I put the error log in debug mode and what i get is a successfel sending message even though no email goes anywhere.
Anyone run into anything like this before....im stumped.
