Blank Page on upgrdatation at Step 1

Hello,
I am using sugarcrm CE 5.2.0c. I am trying to upgrade to 5.2.k. On click of the upgrade option through Admin once I click next for the first time, it displays me a blank screen.I checked in sugarcrmlog file too.The configurations are as follows:
Operating System:- Linux Server
PHP:-5.2.9
Mysql:- 5.1.35
Apache:- 2.2.3
Sugarcrm:- Community Edition 5.2.0.c

SugarCRM 5.2.0c does not support PHP 5.2.9
