Default Blanking an e-mail - bug

Open a lead with a saved e-mail address, and instead of "trashing" an e-mail address (using the trash button), delete it by hand.

You wont be able to save the lead until you refresh the page. I figure it has to do with the javascript e-mail validation. I get no javascript errors, so I'm figuring the system is waiting for the javascript validation to return "good e-mail address" before continuing, being as it wont, it just waits indefinitely.

Can anyone confirm on SugarCRM 5.2J?

I was able to reproduce this issue. If you clear out the email address and try to save, nothing happens. If you then try to delete the blank email address: 1. works in IE and you can save. 2. does not work in firefox, you have to remove the blank line, add a new one, then save.

For the time being, i would suggest using the delete icon to remove email addresses, or just refresh as you suggested.

OK, wanted to make sure it wasn't my custom system before submitting this as a bug, is there a place to submit official bugs?

Yes, you can search for and submit bugs here: http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/support/bugs.html

You must be logged in on the main site in order to log a bug (same login used for the forums).
