bounce folder empty but emails are in database

Hi all,
I have my bounce emails folder empty, although emails are recorded in the database as soon as I send email to the bounce email account.
everything else works fine (accounts, campaigns, collaborative agenda)
We can send emails, we do receive emails (they show up in the database when we use phpmyadmin to make sure they are received) but they do not show up in the email tab.
And yes, we have selected the right folder in "Settings"

to make sure I did not make any mistakes i decided to install a brain new sugarcrm instance.

I made a clean install on a the same server.
I use PHP Version 5.2.10, sugar 520F CE
schedulers work fine
the only thing i did on this install is creating a bounce email adress that was linked to a folder
sugarcrm do receive bounce emails since they show up in the database
but the bounce folder is empty

Any help ?

I need to add that when I enter into "settings" the bounce email parameters as a standalone email account (not as a shared group) then sugarcrm reads the emails correctly from the database and show them up...
This way, it works correctly for one user, but it is not a group email directory anymore.
Thus the pb comes from the bounce emails management in sugarcrm.
