    Default Bounced Messages,Other - what causes this and how do I reset the emails to go out?

    Hi, I have a campaign where emails were being sent out to about 800 people. A large number of them didn't go out automatically for some reason and were in the email management queue. So, through a number of iterations, I set the flag to "not processed" and kept attempting to resend them until they were all sent.

    However, about 500 of them have a status of "BOUNCED MESSAGES,OTHER". Just to be clear, it's not "BOUNCED MESSAGES,INVALID EMAIL", it's "BOUNCED MESSAGES,OTHER". Needless to say, I never got delivery failure messages for these, but I'm wondering what causes messages to be put in this status? Is it related to the fact that send attempts were made several times using the email management queue in the Admin panel?

    Part two of the question is how do I reset the status and attempt to send these again? Do I have to reimport these as targets and send them as part of a separate campaign?

    I'm going to make an intelligent guess, and maybe someone can confirm....

    I just found out from my hosting company (I use BlueHost) that they throttle emails to 50 per hour. I just had the limit increased to 500 per hour, but I'm guessing that after a certain number of send attempts SugarCRM removes the email from the queue and puts the message in the Bounced Messages,Other category.

    of course that would do it but sadly that sounds like a problem ive experienced where some emails wont go out if using the campaign wized. im experiencing the prob again: about 30 emails from a queue of 200 arent going out. sorry no suggestions except that if this your issue i recreated a campaign ,manually not using the wizard and they went ok, i am PRETTY SURE its a bug thats been logged (and if so clearly not fixed yet as im up to date)

    check your sugarcrm.log in the root of the sugar folder for clues, anything at the end?

    Thanks for the replies - I resolved my issue. I saw the solution link you posted. Maybe I have a later version of SugarCRM than you do, but the menus let me do what that script did for you.

    When I go to Admin/Manage email queue, I have an option at the bottomof the screen to mass update the "In Process" field. If I set it to "no" the "checked" flag gets reset and I can attempt to resend my emails.
