Breadcrumbs Broken

We're running SugarCRM 5.2.0a in a WAMP environment (Windows 2003 Enterprise, Apache, MySQL and PHP).

I just noticed this morning that the breadcrumb row is now showing Last Viewed: None for all the pages and all the users. I've viewed accounts, contacts, cases and bugs and the breadcrumb row doesn't show the history.

There have been no changes made to any of the pages in recent days. It was working up until Friday and the only thing that happened between the end of the work day on Friday and Monday morning was a backup.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Goto admin>repair>quick repair and rebuild

If that doesn't work, check Admin > Tracker Settings and enable "Tracker Actions."

The breadcrumbs are controlled by the admin - tracker settings panel.
Here you can enable and disable the breadcrumbs and here you can define how long they live if there is a scheduler job which removes them after a certain amount of days.

This scheduler runs by default on every 1st of a month, so I suppose it finished up the breadcrumbs this night at 03:00 am.

I tried both of the actions you mentioned (doing a repair/rebuild and checking the tracker settings).

The tracker is enabled and tracker actions is checked.

However, the breadcrumb row still shows Last Viewed: None

As mentioned above, the tracker is enabled. I did a rebuild/repair of the database as recommended, and that didn't fix it either.

I also checked the Scheduler and noticed two jobs: Prune Tracker Table and Update Tracker Sessions tables. Both were active. The first one had a last run time of March 1, 2010 at 2am. The other one is set up to run every minute.

I disabled both schedules, and tried viewing some records to see if the Breadcrumb would update, but no luck.

Scheduler have nothing to do with trackers.

You are running an old and buggy version of sugar ... you should upgrade to the latest patch ... this will retain your custom fields.

Well, I upgraded to the latest version (5.2.0k) and the breadcrumbs still show Last Viewed: None.

I've rebooted the virtual machine that the software is running on and still nothing.

Any ideas?

For those that run into this issue in the future, what I found was the tracker table was corrupt. I did a repair of the table using phpMyAdmin and it works like a charm now.
