Default Bug 23440, causes another Bug. "You currently have values in your form for the Phone"

I wrote a custom module that we use for our timecard system. Once I upgraded to SugarCE patch 5.1.0b I started getting a pop that says:

"You currently have values in your form for the Phone and Address fields. To overwrite these values with the phone/address of the Account that you selected, click OK. To keep the current values, click Cancel.

    Customer: MY CUSTOMER NAME

I get the pop up when I select a customer from the customer field. It does it if I type it in and select it from the AJAX pick list or if I click select and pick it from the form. What is weird is that I don't have Phone or Address fields on this form. The fields aren't included at all.

Can someone help me out? Is anyone else having problems with this that use a custom module? Thanks for your help.

I did try saving and redeploying my module...that didn't work.

I get a similar reaction but in editView of a contact record that has already been associated with an existing account record. Same pop-up message, and if a user clicks yes (to replace current data with that of parent account) the results are as advertised. However, I am unsure what exactly triggers the pop-up while in editView. It appears to be when the user clicks on one of the fields the system considers when overwriting. This is definitely an expected, but otherwise undocumented behavior and/or a bug. Furthermore, the 'Reports To:' is populated without notice.

I already filed a bug report on my part.
