Default BUG? Field layout - Start Date

I've customized the layout of Meeting's advanced search panel - added "Start date:" label and the start date field.

When I try to use that field, clicking on the calendar icon brings up a standard calendar popup, but the today marker is one day behind. Also, choosing the date in the popup calendar does not set the date in the field. Typing the date in like 2006/07/07 (I've changes date format in System Settings) makes it 20060707 as soon as it loses the focus. Submitting the search with any value in the start dat field finds no records.

Tried both Firefox and Exploder - same prob.

Just curious if other people have experienced the same problem.

    What code?

All you have to do is add a Start Date field to Meeting's advanced search sub-panel using FieldLayout...

By coincidence I have just done a very similar if not identical thing!

So my Telesales users could search for their Calls by Time and Date I added those fields in 'Field Layout' and although clicking on the date to bring up the box works it does not return the value to the date field. Putting in a time also has no effect, I have tried 10am, 10:00am, 10PM, 10.00am etc,etc but the records displayed does not change!

Thanks for any help and I will post code if you still need this.

I didn't modify any files directly. I used FieldLayout feature to add StartDate field to advanced search panel of the Meetings module.
