Bug Tracker Email Subscription

First, I apologize if this has already been covered but I could not find any relevant results in my search.

Is there functionality existing within CE 5.0.0d that allows for a bug to be subscribed to?

This is common functionality in most bug trackers (bugNET, Mantis, bugzilla, etc...) in which people assigned to the bug are notified by email when details of that bug have been changed. Also, from a subscription standpoint, there is usually functionality for a button for others, like a PM, to subscribe to a specific bug as well.

Any thoughts on this?!

Yes this will happen.

What needs to be done is to make sure the 'notify on assignment' check box is checked in the user/employee account settings.

With this set, when the bug is assigned AND the user has an email assigned to him, an email will be sent from SugarCRM about the bug.
