Building with Sugar, have some questions about adding buttons and a few functions

I'm in the middle of contracting with a client to set up Sugar for his business and need to know if the following is possible. We're using CE 6.0.1. I've searched the forums pretty extensively but haven't been able to find much on these topics:

1. Can buttons be added in the Contact detail view that open a new window for, say, a Google search of the Contact's name? I know how to pre-format Google search strings for links, but haven't found the adding a button to the page part. This could be a button along the top with Edit, Duplicate, etc., or even an HTML field in the form that plugs in the contact's name into a search and I can make my own buttons. This would also be used in other areas in varying ways.
2. Is there any way to allow the user to embed HTML objects into a description box? Google Voice will be his primary number, and in the Call records I'd like for him to be able to copy and paste the embed code for the call from Google Voice so he can review the call without leaving Sugar. As of now it doesn't parse the code correctly. I'd even settle for, like above, adding a button to the Contact page that searches Google Voice in a new window for the contact's phone number to view all their calls at once.
3. Where is the menu structure files located at for editing? Say I want to create a new button somewhere else. I'm able to find some tpl files and have worked with the MVC system on other projects before, but for some reason I'm not finding where these files are here.

When you make customization copy this file if it does not exist to custom/modules/xxx/metadata/here

and then edit the file there, quick repair in the end
