Building target list on Account & Contact data

Hi All,

OK, I'm at a loss. How do I add Contacts to a Target List based on not only a value in a Contact field, but also in an Account field.

For example, I want to all all contacts to a list where the Contact Type = Primary Contact (this is a Contact field) and where Business Type = Law Firm (this is an Account field).

I cannot see how to do this.

Any ideas anyone?

You can't do cross module selects without writing some custom code (fairly straightforward sql query) ... you could try writing it in ZuckerReports, export to .csv then importing to target list ... or creating a custom field for the Contacts module and populating it with the required business type

...or you use enhanced search which allows you to select not only one account in your contacts search panel but a list based on your criteria. This list (or call it a subquery) is then used as basis for your contact search (the free version is called demo but is fully functioal with some functions taken out).
