Default Bypass SugarCRM Login Screen (using HTTPS)

    Hello,

I manage several SugarCRM (commercial open source - Version 4.5.1b Build 1246) installations, all setup utilizing HTTPS, and would like to have the capability for the users on the Intranet (internal private network) to be able to bypass the SugarCRM login screen. Is this possible, and if so, can someone please tell me how to set this up?

Can we pass the username and password via the URL (least preferred method - since the password would have to be hardcoded). Or, even better yet, can this be accomplished via "LDAP Authentication Support"? Since the users have already successfully authenticated on the Win2K3 domain, I see no reason to force them to re-authenticate to access SugarCRM.

SugarCRM is running under Windows 2003 Server (SP2) - WAMP.

    Thank you,
    Harry

    Hi there,

Please check out the Sugar wiki (http://wiki.sugarcrm.com) and search for LDAP and/or SOAP to find several articles on this subject. This one in particular should be interesting for you.

Hi, this is my first time here, I'm a newbie. I would like to bypass SugarCRM Login Screen to, using a Shibboleth IdP (SAML 2.0 protocol) to authenticate the user. Do anyone have any suggestion?
    Thanks in advance

look into modules/Users/login.php ... you will need to do some magic there ... not too difficult ..
