    Default Cache dir....

After problems with a language file and renaming shortcuts, i renamed the cache directory. Hurray, all problems solved, until i discovered that de cache directory is not a normal cache........
It turns out that the email client can't read or store settings anymore. I guess because the blowfish key is incorrect.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

( just restoring the original cache doesn't work.)

    Linux Debian
    Sugar CE 5.2.0j (Build 5804)
    Apache 2.2.3
    PHP 5.2.9-0.
    MySQL 5.0.84

There is some e-mail related stuff in cache, but the settings themselves are actually stored in a table within the database.

I know I've removed the cache folder for unrelated purposes on some systems and haven't had a problem saving e-mail settings afterwards.

Does the same happen for all users? What if you create a new user and then try to save some settings for that user?

    Hello Angel,
    Thanks for the reply.
I just found that the problem is related to the dutch language file.
If I log in using the English language everything works fine. The email client settings are retrieved and stored without a problem.
As a test I also installed the german lang.file Works fine.
Just the dutch language file is giving trouble. No errors in the logging, only the browser showing several script errors.

Hopefully someone from dutch community has got a solution, if not, I'm afraid, I'll have to write my own dutch translation ......................
