The default is by DUE DATE descending.

The sort arrows don't work on DUE DATE (at least my sort arrows don't work)

How can I 'activate' the sort arrows or change something somewhere?

This was an issue on the prior build also.
Currently at:
Version 5.2.0f (Build 5688)
