    Default Calendars and iPhone

    Hi,

Anyone have luck subscribing to the Community Edition with the iCal extension using the new Subscribe part of the 3.0 Software calendar? I can subscribe to Sugar from iCal on my desktop/laptop and I can subscribe to other ical calendars from my iphone but when I subscribe to the same Sugar server that works from iCal the iPhone software keeps reporting that 'Account requires username and password' Even though I've entered the same URL, name and password that works in ical?

    Thanks

    Scott

Doesn't look like you ever received a reply on your question. I'm struggling with same issue.

I have a question about whether the iCal patch is still needed to subscribe SugarCRM (5.2.f) calendars to iPhone 3.0? I haven't downloaded it yet because I was unclear if Sugar corrected iCal issue in latest versions or if iPhone new OS now accepted subscription now.

    Yes, I am.

    webcal://sub.server.net/.vcal_server.php?type=ics&user_name=AAA&key=BBBB
    webcal://sub.server.net/vcal_server.php/type=ics&user_name=AAA&key=BBBB

Tried both with ? and /. (Obviously, I've replace my real server URL from one listed above.)

I've read all threads within Sugar and Apple on how to do this. Thanks for any help.

Same format is working for me - I am using a / not a ? btw

I'm on info@hand, but I thought Sugar plus ical patch was pretty much the same in this area.

Ummm.... any special characters in username or psw?

No, using standard letters and numbers. To confirm, I DO need to install iCal patch?
