I have SugarCRM CE 6.2.4 and have set up and tested the Campaign emails feature - it is wonderful!
I can send emails, and see how many were sent and how many were read, with tracking URLs which get captured and counted as click-throughs, and with opt-out Links which, if clicked, automatically set the "Opted Out" check box for that contact's email. I love it!
One slight glitch.
If an email gets bounced (say for an invalid or expired email), the bounce-handling email address I have set up does get the email bounce-back notice (good), but SugarCRM does not capture that bounce-back in its tracking, like it does the opt-out or tracking URL.
The Scheduler is operating.
Here is what I have found:
When I go to Admin -> Inbound Email -> <my email setup> -> Edit
I click on the Test Settings button and it comes back with a timeout error.
I re-enter the password, and click on Test Settings and it makes the connection.
I save the settings, click on Test Settings and it times out.
I can repeat this process as many times as I want.
It appears the system is not holding the proper password or something.
Anyone heard of this before?
