Campaign E-mails

We're trying to configure a campaign to send e-mails, right now I've created a test target list with myself and another developer and setting up the e-mail. It appears to be queuing the two e-mails just fine.

However, when I go Admin > Manage E-mail Queue and click Send Queued Campaign Emails the system hangs for a while then displays the top menu and the side menu with only a "1" in as the content and when I go back into the Manage E-mail Queue I see that the e-mails have a 1 under in process but still have a 0 under Send Attempts and if I let it sit for a few hours it still doesn't attempt to send and if I click the send button again it goes quick and nothing changes.

I am able to send e-mails through the Emails tab just fine. Our outgoing mail server is the localhost and localhost is configured to relay anything coming from localhost.

We have a Windows 2003 Server
PHP 5.2.8
SugarCRM CE 5.2.0a

Am I doing something wrong or does the Send Queued Campaign Emails button not actually send them?

Well I changed the send campaign e-mails schedule to do it every 5 minutes and it sent them automatically correctly so I'm happy with that.

Kinda odd that it will send just fine automatically but will fail trying to send when I do it manually.

Wise decision. Scheduling is the best way to send hundreds of emails. It is better to use "Send Queued Emails" button, if only few emails are queued.
