    Default Campaign Email not sending properly under “Send Emails”

    Sugar Open Source, Version 4.5.1b (Build 1246)
    FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE #0
    Server: Apache/1.3.37 (Unix) PHP/5.2.0

    Mail Transfer Agent: Sendmail

    Tasks completed:
    1. Email Template Created
    2. Target List Created
    3. Campaign Created
    4. "Email Marketing" setup
    5. Scheduler Setup (Mass Email and Bounced Email), 1 hour intervals.
    6. Campaign Diagnostic Run:
    - a. Email Components - Check
    - b. Scheduler Components – Check (listing the above Schedules)

    Here is where my challenge is:

    When I send out a "Send Test" in a new Campaign, the emails show up under "View Status" and are received by the recipients.
    However, when I click "Send Emails" on a new Campaign, no emails are logged in the "View Status" area, nothing shows up in the Outbound Email Queue, and no emails are received by the recipients.

    Note: My standard outbound email works as well

    I have perused through prior threads, which have help me out, however, have not solved the challenge.

    Whatever anyone can do to help out would be appreciated. If more info is needed, please let me know.

    Well since no one was willing to help out... I've figured out how to get it all working myself.

    Sounds like the Start Date in the Email Marketing section may not have been exceeded?

    Ivance,

    We are having the same problem as well and I can't figure out why? the Send Test works great but Send Mail does not. Any chance of you posting your findings to see if it'll assist us?

    Make sure under email marketing that the email itself has "All Target Lists in the Campaign" selected, or those you want selected. The email template must be set to active within the campaign. The campaign must be inactive (for test emailing). Also you may need to use the launch wizard (right top once campaign selected) instead of the send email button.The test email address targets must be on a target list this is set as a test type.

    Is your sugarcrm cron.php into cron jobs of freebsd?
    Generaly it is the problem related to test emailmarketing sent and campaign no sent.
    It is because the test emailmarketing run directly as a action and the campaign e-mail is triggered by cron.php of sugar that is triggered by cron job of linux, unix, freebsd, whathever.
