Campaign Email stuck in outbound queue

Hi all,

I've created a campaign for Email marketing, if I send the Plain text Email template, it works fine

However, if my E-mail Template contains self-defined HTML format,
the Campaign email seems stuck in the outbound queue

I tried to force the email by pressing "Send Queued Campaign Email" in "Outbound Email Queue Management"
but it returns error....

Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\sugar550\modules\Email Templates\EmailTemplate.php on line 263

the line 263 is
$count=preg_match_all($pattern,$template_text,$mat ches,PREG_OFFSET_CAPTURE);

Is it because there is any symbol or character restricted/confused the Email template ??

I guess so. Try a template created from within Sugar and test it. If it works you know it for sure. Then check the generated html code of the Sugar template. Delete the parts Sugar generates from your template before you copy it into the sugar editor. This is how I got it working with my own external templates.

I have a similar problem

After I schedule the emails, the emails get stuck in E-mail queue
and won't be sent unless I click on Send queued emails,
is there any missing step?

It's not similar because manfree's cause an error message if he wants to send them manually. Yours may have many reasons:

The cron job doesn't run at all or not every minute
The Sugar scheduler isn't set
The campaign is scheduled to be sent at a particular interval which has yet to come
The campaign is scheduled to be sent only from a certain date/time
Your SMTP server doesn't work (which means you get at least send attempts)
Your provider thinks you are a spammer (means also attempts)
