Campaign emails STILL not sending...

Community Edition
email SMTP is configured correctly
campaign start date is yesterday, ending today
campaign is set to active
target lists "default" and "seed" are included

when selecting the campaign and hitting the "send email" button, nothing happens!

I have been through this several times to no avail. Am I missing something still?

Could be any number of reasons some of which are:

1. File permissions incorrectly set in Cache/Custom/Data/Modules folders
2. If Centos OS then Config.php dir_mode and file_mode may need to be changed
3. Does it work using sendmail?
4. Is the ISP blocking SMTP connections from Sugar

If the emails do not even get to the Mail Queue after pressing the Send button then check you have configured a mailbox for bounce handling (Admin | Email Settings). If still does not work ("do anything") then likely cause if file permissions.
