    Default Campaign Name shows in subpanel but not in Leads list view

    I previously sent an email campaign to some Leads. Now I want to send another campaign to Leads who received the earlier one, but I can't figure out how to run a search that will return the correct set. When I look at an individual Lead, I can see the campaign name listed under the Campaign subpanel. When I look at Leads in list view, the campaign name is blank (I had added the field via Studio).

    On further research I found that the field in list view is "campaign_name" but the one on the subpanel is "campaign_name1." I don't understand why there are two campaign_name fields. The latter is not available as one I can add to list view or to the Advanced Search panel.

    I've spent hours and hours on this issue, and posted another question about it earlier which didn't receive a response. I've tried to figure out workarounds, but the only thing I can see to do is to add a bunch of different statuses to Leads and that could get confusing after awhile. Any suggestions?

    You can do the following:

    • Go to the Campaign;
    • Click "View Status"
    • Go to subpanel "Viewed Message"
    • Click button "Add to Target List"

    This will create a new target list containing all recipient which viewed the message.
    Just add this target list into new campaign,

    thanks andopes. That's an interesting approach, and one I hadn't thought of. The problem, though, is that I don't want to select all Leads I mailed to before, only those who did not convert. I didn't see a way to filter by that criteria using your method.

    Once the Leads had been converted into a Contact and Account is should be visible under subpanel "Contacts Created".

    Yes, but that doesn't solve the problem of how to create a Target List out of Leads who were sent a previous campaign and did not convert. When I import the list of Leads to whom the campaign was sent using your previous instructions, converted Leads are imported and once they are in the Target List I don't see any way to search for them and delete them.

    Is there any other way to create a filtered Target List of Leads?

    Not an approach out of the box.
    You will need to implement some coding to accomplish such feature.
    Ideally you can create a custom button on Leads ListView which would save all selected entries into a specified Target List.
    This requires sugarcrm, php and javascript knowledge.
