    Default Campaign SMTP email stuck 5.0dCE

    I just installed 5.0dCE fresh on hosted site (Windows, MSSQL). I'm using a test list and only campaign emails for my own domain get sent, anything with a different domain stays in the queue and an SMTP error shows in the log. The funny thing is I can send out email using the email module and everything works fine. I have another instance of 5.0d running on same domain but mySQL instead (this one is an upgrade from 5.0a. This one works. Any ideas on why this is happening?

    You mentioned you are able to send e-mail otherwise, but are you able to send e-mail to those addresses? Maybe it is having a problem with the hyphen in the domain name???

    Okay, fixed it. Had to type in the From email address for the bounce email account (admin->in bound email). I didn't bother filling it in since it was already listed as the default value (guess it needs you type it in ). Incidently the Reply To name and address do not work for the campaign mails.

    Hi all,

    I have been getting the exact same error. I have SugarCRM configured on our LAN (company.lan) and a mirrored copy for our sales guys on company.com. If I create a target list while logged into the LAN, none of the emails send (even if I add the contacts to the target list while logged into the .com mirrored version of Sugar).

    HOWEVER, if I create the target list and populate it from .com, everything is fine.

    So ... it looks like some part of the target list is somehow associated with the domain URL from which you set it up. This triggers the error I have been getting. I have no idea exactly why, but it is a workaround for now.

    It would be great to get this resolved - I have noticed other posts on the same error.
