Campaign Subpanel broken

I really can't say when this started happening. So far I've installed PowerProspecting 1.3 into Sugar 4.5.1 - everything was working fine yesterday. Now when I click on a Campaign to see the details I get the following error:

Fatal error: aSubPanel::require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'modules//subpanels/.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/share/pear:/home/cian/vfg_php_lib/library:/home/cian/vfg_php_lib/classes') in /var/home/cian/crm.vfgcorp.com/include/SubPanel/SubPanelDefinitions.php on line 66


I've read through the forums, and found similar issues, however none of the fixes proposed are applicable.

I've reinstalled Sugar into a new directory and database which fixes the problem, however as soon as I restore the database (no changes to code) this error starts happening again.

If anyone can direct me as to which table I should be looking at to fix this, that would help a lot.

I'm running:

FreeBSD 6.0
Sugar 4.5.1
Apache 1.33
PHP 5.2.0
MySQL 5.0

I get the same sort of problem after sending an email

So come on sugar there are numerous requests for a fix to this ... are you going to answer?

I eventually fixed it by trial and error killing each table in the dB. I eventually found that there were some bad entries in user_preferences...though I couldn't tell you which ones...I just deleted all the new ones since the problem started and it works. Pretty annoying, but got me going.
