I have a clean installation of Sugar that sends test e-mails just fine (notwithstanding that it does not pick up bounces, which will have to be the subject of another thread). The problem I have is that when I click the Send Emails button, the page returns to me (much quicker than the Send Test button) but with no e-mails sent. Admin can see nothing in the e-mail queue. I've forced cron.php to work with a command line execution of
php -f cron.php > /dev/null 2>&1
(recommended by my Sugar installation) and
php -c /usr/lib/php/php.ini -f cron.php (recommended by a forum thread I ran across)
Neither of the above triggers of the queue helped (I have also witnessed the known "In progress" scheduler bug), seemingly because no mail was ever put into the queue.
Sugar is pretty useless to me if it can't even send/receive e-mail for marketing campaigns.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
