Campaigns Viewed Message

Good morning,

I'm checking campaigns' functionalities.

I've created an email marketing related to a new campaign, sent and received in a private mail account.

What should I see in the Campaign Status in the table "Viewed message"? I thought that if a target open and view my email this action provide to the system this information and a new record is added to the "Viewed message" table, but nothing appears in this table.

"Click-thru" and "Opted out" for example, works properly.

Where am I wrong?

Have you checked config.php to make sure that "host_name" has a proper web address rather than something like "localhost"?

I believe the emails aren't considered "viewed" until the attached image is viewed/loaded into your email application. For many email apps, attached images aren't automatically viewed for security reasons. If you click "view" or "download" images, the email will then be considered viewed by Sugar.

If this is true, does anyone know a way to avoid the necessity of viewing/downloading the unsafe image in order for Sugar to consider the email viewed?
