Can This Be done In Sugar?

My company wants form data from our website leads to automatically populate our leads database in SUGAR CRM CE when a customer enters information. Is this possible? If so what server side technology do we have to deploy? If I sound like a complete "noob" please forgive me. Thanks to all in advance for responding to this.

Yes, it is possible to do this. There is a built-in method called Web-to-lead which will do it, but can also be done via the API using whatever language you like that supports SOAP.

I just checked the wiki and they discussed lead capture from a form. I'll try finding this web to lead function as well.

I would like to have more info on Web to LEad in Sugar. Currently we are using Sugara on Demand. Is this possible in this version of Sugar?

Thanks for this..... I have got to the wbe 2 lead form builder but it does not allow me to select the ACCOUNT NAME. Which does not appear in the pick list.

I have ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION - Is this the same thing?

How do I get ACCOUNT NAME to appear in my Web2lead form?
