Can not attach documents from Sugar into email

I've been trying to find a fix for this all over but have not been successful. I'm currently running SugarCRM 5.5.1. I can email documents from my local system but when I try to attach a document that I've uploaded into Sugar, I get the following error:

Warning: copy(cache/upload/e94cc755-fd74-8123-00a1-4b758d98444b) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/xxx/xxx/xxx/modules/Emails/Email.php on line 736 while(1);/*{"composeLayoutId":"composeLayout1"}*

I've been able to find postings about problems with mime file formats but not "Copy" function of Email.php.

Not sure if it's a bug or setting but help would be greatly appreciated.

I would check your permissions. Maybe try this and see if it fixes the issue

chmod -Rfv 777 cache/

and then if it works you can limit down the permissions.
