    Question Can send emails but can't send campaigns

    Hi,

    I'm trying to send campaigns.
    A normal email works fast and nice, but a campaign doesn't.

    Start date is before now, execution time is now or in the past (tested both).
    The messages appear correctly in the queue, but from there, I can't send them as well.
    I switched to debug level and read the whole queue sending log but I can't see any errors. These:
    Thu Nov 25 13:54:59 2010 [8177][1][WARN] Image EmailMarketing.gif not found
    Thu Nov 25 13:54:59 2010 [8177][1][WARN] Image CampaignLog.gif not found
    Thu Nov 25 13:54:59 2010 [8177][1][WARN] Image EmailMarketing.gif not found
    were the biggest problems I found.

    I'm on a unix system and run the newest Sugar version 6.01CE
    (I even have only two messages in the queue and reduced to 10 per batch run).

    Any ideas what I can do to figure out sth?

    Did you set up a cron job to run your nightly mass email campaigns?

    Sugar doesn't send campaigns the same way it sends regular emails. It waits until the dead of night and then it sends out emails in predefined batches. You can find more information about how your system is doing this in Admin -> Campaign Email Settings and Admin -> Scheduler.

    I can't remember if flushing the queue bypasses this, but either way its something you should have set up correctly.

    Yes, I even configured it to run every minute (for testing) as well as the cron on the system.
    Still no results

    A couple of questions come to mind..

    First, what happens if you attempt to manually send the messages from the queue?

    Does the log on the scheduler job for sending the email campaigns show an entry for a completed process?

    What is the status value of the messages in the queue?

    Have you confirmed the referenced files and are accessible to the user under which your web server is running?
