Can SugerCRM connect to my webservice?

Hi Everyone,

Is it possible for SugarCRM to connect to a webservice? That webserice will be a Java application.

The reason is, I don't want to constantly connect/check with my application to SugarCRM to check if there are changes. I want SugarCRM to connect to my applications/webservice to tell me there is a change.

How would I do this? Is there any documentation/manual that explains this?

Has anyone already done something like this?
