Can you have reports automatically ran?

I have a custom report that I would like to have ran automatically every morning, so that the person it pertains to has a fresh report waiting for them each day. Is there a way to automate this or does it have to be done manually each time?

This is possible, with each report you can set a scheduled time that it will run and assuming your cron scheduler is running, the person attached to this report will receive it as an Email

Does the schedule need to be on default settings or does a new scheduler need to be created?

HI,

You have your system cron job running say every minute, via the admin -> scheduler function you need to activate the report schedule.
