cannot add a field using studio

Hi everyone, I'm still learning the ways of Sugar but I cannot add a field to a module.

I'm trying to add a field for website address in the leads module.

Anything I click on in the studio gives me a undefined pop up message at the top of the screen.

When I try to save a field I get an error message "failed to retrieve data".

I've tried reconfiguring the permissions and editing mvc_utils.php.

I'm using sugar 5.5CE on a web hosted linux server. Any help would be much appreciated!

It should work with no problems....
Try a fresh install in you PC just to understand how thing go, then move to the server.
It looks like file permissions, php version or setup values....
