    Default Cannot configure email settings

    I have tried every setting imaginable, I can receive emails but cannot send, although no error messages are recorded and the sent messages is displayed in the sent items folder. I have tried using sendmail as well as smtp settings through my hosting account settings.

    Any ideas would be appreciated, this is driving me nuts

    hi iam also facing the same problem i tried a lot also but with no result also the received email is shown sooo late

    You can't send SMTP to yourself or anyone else using your spam filter because all email addresses with your domain are INSIDE the network and so sending from the outside with an internal address is presumed to be spam.Exchange SMTP services (windows SMTP actually) doesn't allow you to restrict traffic to an IP address and allow all other IP's only if authenticated. If you restrict by IP, you have to specify all IP's that can send through it (not possible for the random IP's assigned to the iPhone obviously). If you require authentication, all SMTP senders need to authenticate and most spam filters (at least mine anyway) cannot authenticate to send. It just opens a port and starts spitting out email.

    Can you please guide us that how to configure your mail settings in Sugarcrm, we are even not able to receive the emails and can't send emails too.
