cannot enable connectors

Hi,

I wanted to take a look at the new connector functionality, linkedin specifically. However, I don't seem to be able to enable connectors. Here's a screenshot:

This looks quite different compared to the screenshot in the documentation:

I don't get errors on the page and I have this problem on windows and linux with IE and Fx, so it doesn't seem to be a browser issue browser.

Any suggestions?

I get the same problem where i can not drag to the enable field.

How is this solved?

Hi,

If you aren't seeing the screen with the two sections to enable/disable the Connectors then most likely this pertains to a browser issue where the css isn't rendering the tabs correctly. If this is the case, could you let me know which browser and OS you are using and the version of your browser?

I am facing the same problem using Firefox 3.0.7 and Safari 3.2.1 on Mac OS X 10.5.6.

Any updates on the way that solves this issue?

Hi all,

I had the same issue (no possibility to drap/drop items in cloud connectors) and thanks the the good support of SugarCRM I have with Professional Edition, this issue is now resolved.

Issue is permission on the web server. Some javascript files are not accessible, causing the issue. You can detect this with firebug NET (a plug-in of Firefox) as you can see in attached Screenshot file.

Solution is to enable read/execute access to needed SugarCRM files on the server. Once done and issue closed, accesses can be restricted until issue remains fixed.

FYI: after changing permissions, I've also activated the repair/recompile JS (Javascript) functionality from the admin console, but I'm not sure it was necessary.
