cannot install or remove modules

Hi I am a new user I installed 5.0CE

Working through the admin manual i tried to install a module but it seems something might be missing from my install

First I am not able to install from Sugar, I get an error message stating Incompatible versions of Sugar! 100

Uploading from my machine isnt any better, I can upload the module and it shows in the first section but there is no where to click "Commit" and then "Install" as stated in the manual.

and there is no button to click that says delete pack


if this helps I am using Linux
Sugar 5.0CE
Apache version 1.3.37 (Unix)
PHP version 5.2.1
MySQL version 4.1.22-standard

Im on a deadline so I really appreciate any help

Do I need to reinstall??

Wild guess - if you are working on a 1024 resolution the "install" button might be hidden out of sight to the right. Happened to me once.

I get the same message from the "Install From Sugar".

Incompatible SugarCRM Versions (100)

I also tried to install from file, but in the case of the Forum Extensions Module the Module Loader says it installed. The Forum Topic link shows up in the Admin section and lets me add Topics. Unfortunately, the forum doesn't show up in the Tabs. Not sure why.

Did you set it active using "Configure Tabs" in the admin panel?
