Cannot remove Account Type from Accounts list view

Hi guys I want to remove the Account Type from Accounts list view and use another field I have created for this purpose. The reason i have created the other field is because Sugar can't use the inbujlt type field and bring the data across from a lead to a contact and an account so you have to create your own field to do this (I really really hope this is fixed in future versions it means I have to write a 1 page document explaining the limitation to clients every time I have to set up a field that is already there). Anyway I can't get rid of the Account type on the list view nor can I add my new type field to the list view. I can add the other inbuilt fields and I can take other fields away but I need it to display my type field not the inbuilt one and I change it in Studio but the changes are never reflected on the front end?

Help would be very much appreciated.

Just an update to this it seems this is not happening in every version of Sugar but it is happening on 2 out of 3 installations I have tried - both different versions (one is 5.5 and the other 6) and both on different servers. Very strange??

I noticed this is happening on other things not just related to accounts so I think I'll put a more general post up.

I'm still getting this problem and haven't been able to find a solution. Any ideas?
