I have two Contacts records for one individual that are essentially identical, except the Account Name in one record is the organization he works for (this is the one I want to keep) and the other record is the organization he works at (he's a contractor).

If I open the Contacts record I want to keep and click "Find Duplicates" and the choose First + Last Name, or Email Address, or some other field that is identical in the two records, it finds "0 records", even though there are two records with identical values for those fields.

Likewise, if from list view in Contacts I search for this individual, I get two records. I check both and click "Merge" and I get a message to "Please select at least 2 records to proceed.".

Is it the link between the Contacts module and the Accounts module that makes it appear these two records are not identical when all of the other fields are identical?
