    Question Cannot retreive inbound email

    Running 4.5d
I set up a single mailbox and assigned it to a group. Selected to leave mail on server and to check against ALL email on server. I run the test and it says all is good. But when I go to the Get Mail for groups it looks like it's running for about 10 seconds then the page goes blank (except for the top and side menu bars) and no email is retreived. Am I missing a step here?

    Running 4.5e
I waited on this as I heard there were a bunch of email fixes going in. But I'm still getting the same problem. When I test my pop3 settings it says that it's all ok but when I attempt to retrieve email it seems to be thinking for about 15 seconds and then I get nothing. I read in another thread (can't find that now - typical) that I could run the "Repair" that's listed under the "Repair Indexes" only there is nothing listed there, only an image of a screwdriver. I really want to get this going to add to our automation but I'm completely stuck.

    Hi Umeco,
I switched to IMAP and the 'test' found the INBOX but when I try to retrieve email it just comes back to the 'Check Email' page (which is different from pop which comes back blank). I've just upgraded to 4.5f and now see the 'repair inbound email' which I ran but this made no difference on pop3 or IMAP.

do you have the pecl json module installed? If you do you must only use version 1.1.1 as version 1.2 and greater will not work with SugarCRM.

Is the JSON module really necessary for IMAP support? Is there a differenct between PHP-JSON and PECL JSON?

I don't have the pecl json module installed, is this required?
